UKCA is the abbreviation of UK Conformity Assessed. On February 2, 2019, the British government announced that it would adopt the UKCA logo scheme in the case of Brexit without an agreement. After March 29, trade with Britain will be conducted in accordance with the rules of the World Trade Organization (WTO).
UKCA certification will replace the CE certification currently implemented by the EU, and most products will be included in the scope of UKCA certification.
Precautions for use of UKCA logo:
1. Most (but not all) products currently covered by the CE mark will fall within the scope of the UKCA mark
2. The use rules of UKCA mark will be consistent with the application of CE mark
3. If the CE mark is used based on self declaration, the UKCA mark can be used accordingly based on self declaration
4. UKCA mark products will not be recognized in the EU market, and CE mark is still required for products sold in the EU
5. The UKCA certification test standard is consistent with the EU harmonized standard. Please refer to the EU OJ list
